Nissan Cars - Nissan Prices

Like so many other Japanese auto manufacturers, Nissan is known for quality and reliability. The brand now offers a diverse range of much sought after models including subcompacts, pickup trucks and every type of vehicle in between. The bestseller is the Nissan Altima which has consistently proven to be the main breadwinner for the brand. There seems no reason why 2013 will be any different and the model is a prominent feature of this year's lineup.

The lynchpin of Nissan's lineup, the Nissan Altima was fully redesigned for this year offering a solid mid-sized vehicle available in both sedan and coupe trim levels. Both trim levels have a choice of two engine options. Both trims are supplied with an Xtonic continuously variable automatic transmission as standard but the coupe trim level also has an optional 6 speed manual alternative. With a large variety of features offered, it is easy to see why the Altima is a bestseller for the brand.

The choice of sedans is rounded off by the Nissan Sentra which has also been completely overhauled for the 2013 line, while the 2013 Nissan Versa has the addition of an engine immobilizer and intelligent key as standard and is also available in hatchback trim.

Nissan also offers a RWD sports car with a front engine, available in soft top convertible or coupe trim levels. The 2013 Nissan 370Z has a 3.7 liter V6 engine under the hood and a choice of transmission options. Some of its best features are 19-inch wheels, rear spoiler, sport brakes, front aero deflector, navigation system, USB connection, 9.3 GB music hard drive, rear-view monitor, and limited slip differential.

In the SUV category, Nissan offers the 2013 Nissan Armada which is now fitted with Bluetooth and power passenger seating as standard. The eight passenger vehicle is powered by a 5.6 liter V8 engine producing 317 hp. The transmission is a standard 5 speed automatic with FWD although 4WD is an optional extra. The Nissan Pathfinder SUV has been redesigned for 2013, now offering seating for seven and a 7000-lb towing capacity. One of the unique features of the new Pathfinder is shift-on-the-fly that permits the driver to change between 4WD and 2WD while moving. The Nissan Murano and Nissan Rogue also add a couple of mid-sized crossover SUVs to the line.

If you are looking for a car that is a little more unique, then the 2013 Nissan Cube mini MPV is a distinctive vehicle thanks to the cube-like body. The best features of the Cube are automatic temperature control, navigation system, 16-inch wheels, rear-view monitor, push button ignition, XM Satellite radio, interface system for iPod and auxiliary audio input jack. Another unique body shape is offered by the 2013 Nissan Juke, which is a curvy crossover vehicle which remains unchanged from earlier models.

For the more conventional driver, the Nissan Maxima five seater Sedan has some changes from previous models. The Maxima now has a 3.5 liter V6 engine that is hooked up to an Xtronic automatic transmission as standard equipment (paddle shifters extra). Additional features include a USB connection, alloy wheels and a rear spoiler.

If an SUV just isn't big enough, Nissan also has passenger vans available in this year's lineup. The Nissan Quest is a 7 passenger minivan which remains largely unaltered from previous incarnations. The Quest features a 13 speaker Bose audio system, DVD system, USB port and streaming Bluetooth audio capabilities. The Nissan NVP offers seating for 12 people and is also largely unchanged from last year. Some of the best features: rear doors that swing 243°, multiple outlets, reading lights, folding and removable seats, advanced climate control, center console that changes into a table, front and rear sensors, rear view monitor, low step-in height, premium audio system, touch-screen navigation, and optional Bluetooth hands-free phone.

Completing the 2013 line up is the 2013 Nissan Titan, a full sized pick up truck which is offered in standard or crew cab trim level. The 2013 model is now offered in a wider range of exterior colors and has an improved tailgate. The truck's towing capacity is 9500lbs.
