Korean car manufacturer Hyundai was formed in 1967 and they have been making cars for a number of years which has seen them become one of the most popular car makers in the world.

The Hyundai Accent is a smaller car that comes as a hatchback or sedan and is powered by a 1.6 liter engine with a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission and front wheel drive. The Hyundai Accent gives a very good 30 miles to the gallon in the city, increasing to 40 miles to the gallon on the open highway. Extra features included as standard for the 2013 version include heated mirrors on the side and keyless entry, as well as air-conditioning.

If you are searching for an affordable medium sized sedan, then look no further than the 2013 Hyundai Azera which comes fitted with a powerful 3.3 liter V6 configured, 293 horsepower producing engine. Its brake assist, anti-lock braking system and electronically controlled stability assistance compliments its front wheel drive capability.

Also fitted with front wheel drive is the 2013 Hyundai Elantra, the perfect compact car for those people looking for really good fuel economy. Its 1.8 liter engine comes with a manual or automatic 6 speed transmission that allows the Elantra to provide fuel mileage statistics that come in at a not too shabby 40 miles to the gallon on the open highway, and around 29 mpg in the city.

Unaltered for this year is the Equus, which is Hyundai's full sized luxury car which comes with a massive 5.0 liter V8 engine and rear wheel drive and a huge 8 speed auto gearbox. As you would expect the list of features you would expect to find in this car, is impressive. From heated mirrors and heated/cooled leather seating, to a rear console refrigerator, there is plenty to keep you comfortable on long drives.

For 2013 Hyundai have decided to limit the Genesis model to two versions. The first is the standard version which comes with a 3.8 liter V6, 333 horse power producing engine, however, for added performance you can opt for the 429 horse power producing monster that is the 5.0 R-SPEC with its 5 liter V8 engine and 8 speed auto gearbox. The features are just as impressive, with heated and powered external mirrors, HID headlights, an HD radio, an impressive 17 speaker sound system and a DVD- navigation system. Plus the Genesis also comes available as a rear wheel drive sports coupe.

The 2013 Hyundai Sonata is a good solid family car that offers good fuel mileage but will also move fast when you ask it to thanks to its 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine. You can also opt for the optional 2.0 liter turbo engine but both come with front wheel drive and 6 speed automatic transmission giving fuel mileages in the range of between 22 and 35 mpg.

Brand new for this year is the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport which is a medium sized SUV crossover that can seat up to five people. Open the hood and you will find a 2.4 liter engine or a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine if you are looking for slightly more power. Both engines are coupled with an automatic 6 speed transmission and either the standard front wheel drive or the optional all wheel drive. It is also packed with features such as powered and heated mirrors, a powered tilt and slide sunroof, LED taillights and leather interior. The front seats are heated and there is a sound system consisting of 10 speakers with the audio controls mounted on the steering wheel for ease of use.

The other SUV on offer from Hyundai is the compact crossover Hyundai Tucson which comes with either front wheel drive or all wheel drive. The base model is powered by a standard 2.0 liter engine that comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox; however, you can also opt for a 6 speed automatic one if you should so choose. Finally the Hyundai Veloster now comes with an optional 2.0 liter turbocharged engine. This 3 door hatchback normally comes with a 1.6 liter engine that consists of a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission.
