Kia Cars - Kia Prices
The South Korean car maker Kia (a subsidiary of Hyundai) has been selling cars in the United States since 1994.
Kia has a reputation for building inexpensive SUVs, vans and cars that give excellent fuel economy and offer great
value for the money in a competitive automobile market.
For 2013 Kia has introduced the Kia Forte, which is a small sedan that comes with front wheel drive and a front
engine that packs quite a punch even on the basic model. The smallest engine size comes in 2.0 liter capacity with
four cylinders that churns out an impressive 156 horse power, but for those of you who want that little bit extra
under the hood then the Forte also comes with a 2.4 liter capacity which takes the horse power up to an ample 173.
As for the transmission, the Forte comes with both a six speed automatic or manual option, and the fuel economy
falls well within industry guidelines with anything between 23 miles per gallon to 37 miles per gallon depending
on city or highway use.

The Kia Forte also comes in a 5-door and
coupe version and some of the features of this car are impressive, such
as a power folding mirror and airbags as well as anti-lock braking and traction control, meaning this
car is the
perfect choice for a small family car.
With a few minor cosmetic changes for 2013, the Kia
Optima is a medium sized sedan those people who want
something a little bit bigger than the Kia Forte. It comes with a standard 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder engine that
produces an impressive 200 horse power, however, for those of you who want that little bit more power, the Optima
also comes in a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that provides a whopping 274 horse power. Both engines come fitted
with a six speed automatic transmission that has electronic assistance and produces a not too shabby mpg range of
between 22 and 35.
Mostly unaltered for 2013 comes the Kia Rio, a small sedan that comes fitted with a fuel efficient 1,6 liter
engine that provides a handy 138 horse power, and is the ideal small car for those looking to own a car for
traveling across town. Despite the smaller engine size this handy little car still comes complete with a whole
host of features, such as: Heated front seats and tire pressure monitoring, safety comes in the form of front
airbags and anti-lock brakes.
The Kia Sorento is another car that has seen little alteration for 2013 and is a medium sized sports utility
vehicle that comes in two different engine sizes. The standard is a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces
169 lbs of torque and 175 horse power. But, for those who like a little more power, you can opt for the impressive
and powerful 3.5 liter V6 that will have you flying along with its 276 horse power and 248 lbs of torque. Front
wheel drive comes as standard but you can also choose to have all-wheel drive and this comes with a six speed
automatic gear box.
The Kia Soul was improved greatly during 2012, so for 2013 there is not much that is all that different, but
this nice little hatchback does come with two engine choices, both 4-cylinders with a 1.6 or 2 liter capacity. The
fuel mileage is mightily impressive and this handy little car can go as far as 36 miles to the gallon on highways
and 26 miles to the gallon in urban areas.
For those of you who like to have a little bit of extra control, then the Kia Sportage is possibly the car for
you. With its four-wheel drive option giving you better grip in icy and wet conditions. The engine sizes start with
a powerful 2.0 liter but for better performance there is a 2.4 liter option and the six speed transmission comes in
a choice of manual or automatic.
All brand new Kia cars come with a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty.
